- Broadcast Storm Control
- The network will be clogged when the broadcasting and
- Multicasting messages exceed the limit. For PE61102-116E, the
- overfull data will be filtered out in the network.
- VLAN will divide one network into multiple logical subnets. Data
- packets can not be transmitted between different VLANs so as to
- control the broadcast domain and segment flow to improve the
- reliability, security and manageability. PE61102-116E supports
- IEEE802.1q. VLAN can be divided based on ports. You can divide
- the VLAN by control station or WEB station easily.
- QoS Prioritization
- IEEE802.1P is the most used-widely prioritization solution in LAN
- environment. With this function, you can make port-based priority
- settings and assign different level priority to different ports
- Port Trunking
- Ethernet Trunking employs port trunking technology and can
- bind up to 8 physical Ethernet ports together. Like the normal
- Ethernet port, the Eth-trunk port supports different services, most
- of which can be configured directly on the Eth-trunk interfaces.
- But note the QoS should be configured on the physical ports in
- binding.
